Care Hub hosts various activities

We host a range of exercise classes and other activities that support your wellbeing. In addition to improving your physical health, they are also great opportunities to socialise and make friends.

Chair Yoga

Every Monday 11am - 12pm

£7 per class

A gentle, fun and sociable class suitable for anyone who wishes to practice yoga, but who struggles with stiff or aching joints and balance or mobility issues. Designed especially for people who find it difficult to move on/off the floor.

Boxing for Seniors

Tuesday 1.30-2.30pm

£7 per class

Boxing is a great way to get a full body workout no matter your age, with the added bonus of improving mental health and brain functionality. Our classes include both standing and seated cardio boxing routines perfect for beginners. Also suitable for people living with Parkinson's or Dementia.

Pilates for Parkinson's

Every Wednesday 11am-11.45am

£7 per class

This class is designed specifically for people living with Parkinson's or Dementia. Aimed at building core strength, mobility and balance, it also improves confidence and mental wellbeing.

Move it or Lose it

Every Friday 11.15am - 12pm

£7 per class

Move it or Lose it exercise classes for older people to improve their strength, balance, flexibility and cardiovascular health. Chair-based and standing exercises designed to build up strength and stamina. This class is a natural progression from the gentle pilates class.
