Our various community events throughout the year provide vital opportunities for socialisation - who doesn’t enjoy good company with tea and home made cake or even strawberries and Pimms?

Our regular Coffee Mornings are a great way to meet up with friends or to make new ones – always a lively group, they are ideal for people new to the area or new to being alone.  The Care Hub’s annual Garden Parties are very jolly affairs and in true bulldog spirit go ahead whatever the weather!

Afternoon Tea Dances offer those young at heart and with music in their step a chance to sashay away and for those with energy to spare, we are exploring the Cha-Cha-Cha.  Get those dancing shows ready …

Open to all, we enjoy welcoming familiar faces and new, and can often assist with transport if necessary.

CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCH 2025 AT THE KINGSBRIDGE CARE HUB

We are very excited to welcome you all back for our annual Christmas Day lunch and social gathering. As always, we have planned a delicious 3-course meal with all the trimmings and will be providing a free festive drink on arrival for all our guests. The choices available this year are as follows:

STARTER Prawn Cocktail or Cream Of Tomato Soup (V)

MAIN Roast Turkey or Roast Beef or Graham’s Special Festive Nut Roast (V)

DESSERT Christmas Pudding With Brandy Sauce (V) Sherry Trifle (V)

We ask that you arrive by 12.30pm (earlier if you wish) so that you can enjoy a tea, coffee, or a complimentary glass of wine. The meal will be served at approximately 1.00pm. Sit-down meal numbers are limited to 50 so, if you would like to reserve your place, please complete the form inside as soon as possible. We kindly ask that you select your meal options and arrange payment in advance so that we can manage bookings, order supplies, and organise our team of volunteers in plenty of time.

To cover the continual increase in food and energy costs this year, we have set the price at: £27.00 per person Following on from last year’s popular ‘pay it forward’ scheme, if you wish to donate a little extra for your meal, we will ensure that someone who might otherwise not be able to afford to come can be offered a subsidised place.
